Bonjour! Today's post is just a very quick one I'm afraid as I'm off to Paris for a campaign and - shock gasp horror - haven't packed yet. I know, I am the Queen of being shit a life. Kidding, maybe daughter of the Queen or a distant cousin.
So, today we are finally getting a little more Autumnal on the outfit front, hurrah! This is one of my favourite outfits I've worn in a while and was one of those 'I put this together in a hurry and kind of accidentally but oh my god it worked out' ones. You know the kind? The dress I've only ever worn dressed up for very high profile events - cough a trip to Zizzis - but I absolutely love it so I wanted to see how I could dress it down a little. Thus, this outfit was born. It was a little chilly so I needed something on my ole leggies that wasn't thick tights (the look was already veering towards war time child and I didn't want to push it over the edge) so I went for fishnets and these Topshop boots which have been an absolute godsend. Comfortable but v cool (thanks to that curiously shaped heel) they're a joy to wear. And then, of course, my Topshop checked coat, which I did warn you you'd be seeing a lot more of.
